I wonder how her days went by for the gentle girl on the street. Where did she find a shelter during daytime, when she could? How did the young and curious Elizabeth see the streets of the eighth district of Budapest? What insights did she gain from looking at the beer trolleys outside the pub?

During the day, Elizabeth tried to attend masses. On one occasion, she was in the Church of the Perpetual Adoration, where she heard a sermon that was thought-provoking for her. The Father spoke about the difference between the terms "transubstantiation" and "transubstantiation", proving the correctness of the latter.

The barman came out of the door for a moment, wiping his hands on his once white apron and calling out loudly: "We don't want white, kids, we only want one red wine!"

The two barmen whispered to each other, and I guessed that they only had white wine. But then one of them
